The president of the DAFG is Dr. Otto Wiesheu, former Bavarian Minister of State for Economic Affairs, Infrastructure, Transport and Technology. The DAFG board comprises German and Arab citizens as well as Germans of Arab origin who reflect the various DAFG fields of work. It is composed of members of political parties in Germany, outstanding representatives of cultural, educational and economic institutions, and known business representatives.
The DAFG closely collaborates with the Arab ambassadors in Berlin who are also members of the association; some of which are also members of the board. The German-Arab Friendship Association (DAFG) is a nonpartisan, non-profit organization characterized by its transparency. The DAFG encourages its members to get involved in the various fields of action.
